Ability Awareness Through My Lens Post 13

Starting out an amazing weekend in Old Sacramento with our camera crew we captured some images at the infamous Evangeline’s. Evangeline’s is a must stop historical landmark to visit in Sacramento California the Golden state.

My quick shopping trip will result in a follow up story with Evangeline’s where we will take you on a three story tour of the haunted costume mansion. Evangeline’s was a pit stop before meeting up with the rest of the crew at the Ambiance lounge.

The SacTown trio hits again! Another incredible week as we travel to Old Sacramento at the luxurious Ambiance lounge where our very own Celestial Thomas had the pleasure of interviewing Andre Henley and Taze Ellis. Sitting down with these two gentlemen was very inspiring and insightful. Andre and Tase gave us incredible information for local artist and promoters with exciting perks!

Ability Awareness Through My Lens Post 11

It’s great to be home! The week started out with high energy with the kick off of a new chapter of adventure. First up was a recent join to an amazing Facebook group called The Taco Mafia. I was only able to join one adventure before landing in the emergency and then admitted to a four day IV treatment for a kidney infection!

The first adventure started with The Taco Mafia Facebook meet up at the Escape Room in Historical Folsom California. The underground chambers where full of clues on how to escape. We had two journalist on deck. The first interview was the actual manager of the Escape Room and he gave us a history lesson on the historical building and how the Escape Room came to existence.

The second interview was with the the Rod Father The Taco Mafia leader! Rod and his team are the ones that create the meet ups.

in closing I have also featured a recap of our Vegas adventures. Thank you for watching this weeks Vlog. Next week I hope to show you the adventures we were unable to attend by getting reports from our journalist. Until then have a fabulous week.

Ability Awareness Through My Lens Post 10

Greetings! It is such a pleasure to be back with all you amazing friends! I am going to start out by sharing the most challenging week of my life! I felt like a pinball machine!

I am so grateful that I had incredible professors that taught me the most important word in television production “cover set”. The first challenge of the week was 48 hours before our studio shoot I received a call from our studio guest in regards to the fires she had to reschedule because the power was shut off and they were unable to practice. I was fortunate enough to call my November lineup to come in and perform so fortunately the studio recording was able to continue as planned.

The second challenge was a miss booking for unknown reasons causing our studio recording to be erased and given to another person.

The final challenge was one of our host cancelled two hours before our shoot! We had so many amazing ideas on that day and had to make a few adjustments to make it come together!

I want to give a special shout out to our amazing Journalist/Host who we have had the honor to work with and we are celebrating our second year with her! She indeed is a superhero! All the location and studio shoots we have had in the past two years she has not missed one! She indeed is an incredible asset to our production team and has saved us so many times she deserves an award of honor! Thank you CT!

This weeks streak of events brought up the ole wise words “Bad luck travels in threes”; However, our crew is prepared to encounter all challenges bestowed upon us!

Back to this weeks vlog where I’ll be sharing my favorite Las Vegas musical performances! I hope you enjoy and one day you can enjoy the energy I get when visiting the Freemont Street Experience!

I would like to close out with some exciting news! Our show The SacTown Insider Rogue Edition has a designated time slot: http://206.128.121.211:19001/Cablecas…

Till next week friends. No matter what challenges are handed to you! Take them and make them a positive journey!

Ability Awareness Through My Lens Post 9

On this weeks vlog/blog I’ll be taking you on my amazing field shoot. We had the great opportunity to capture the 20th anniversary of a Place Called Sacramento film festival. I will be bringing you behind the scenes photos and footage of that we captured for the SacTown Insider and SacTown Underground.

Day one was a special induction into the Access Sacramento Hall of Fame for three very special people: Frank, Dana, and Lucy.

Day two is an interview with the Executive Director Gary Martin, A Designer, and two Co-Writers giving you the 411 on their films entered into festival. There was a lot of amazing Hollywood vintage costumes from the Gatsby an flapper era. If you ever have an opportunity to go to a Hollywood film costume party do It! It was such an honor to pay tribute to those designers who created such amazing fashions for their era.

Day three I was unable to attend but I got to read all of my peers posts which I’ll be sharing their pictures. The third night was the final installation of the 20 year special edition of a Place Called Sacramento film festival for 2019.
